"You're like my wife's potato salad"

Hello!

It was another super good and crazy week! On Tuesday me and Elder Anderson were asked to help take out the new missionaries for a night of street contacting that had just flown in that day. Basically they pair you up with a new missionary and you go out and do missionary work for a couple hours. It was kinda crazy to be taking a new missionary out when I'm basically still a new missionary. Like that was me 6 weeks ago and now I'm trying to show him what to do and answer his questions lol. The Lord helped me a lot because I had no clue what I was doing. But it went good and he said he had fun and it super excited for his mission now!

Then the next day we went a picked up Elder Peterson. He is awesome and I'm super excited for this next transfer being in a trio

This week our apartment has turned into the hangout apartment and i love it. All of the elders in the zone will come over during dinner so there's 13 elders all in our tiny apartment haha. And there's always something random going on. Like one day there was someone getting a haircut in one corner, a ping pong game on a makeshift ping pong table, food burning on the stove and everyone trying to talk over each other. It's pure chaos and I love it.

This Sunday an older member of our ward said "you are like my wife's potato salad, I wish you came in a bigger serving" it was definitely one of the weirder things I've been told on my mission so far. And I'm not really sure what it means but I'm taking it as a compliment.

After a couple weeks of lots of opposition and no success we broke though this week! One of the people we are teaching is praying about Joseph Smith and Book of Mormon, another is praying about Baptism and another we were able to put on date. It was cool to see before how you have success there is always lots of opposition and things in the way that we need to get though first. Because the last few weeks have been super hard but we got through and this week was so rewarding. The Lord will always provide a way and provide miracles to allow his work to move forward.

Also I tried to take more pictures this week

There you go, email over

Love y’all
