Quarantine
Hi everyone!
This week our apartment was in quarantine because two of us have covid. In the last 18 months, I have been quarantined for a total of six weeks and lived with 9 people who have gotten covid and still haven't gotten it. Not being able to talk to people in person has made doing missionary work a lot harder. But we have also found ways to have fun.
Since there were 5 of us quarantined we do stuff like find a spot out in the middle of nowhere and try to message people on Facebook and call people. Most of the time no one wants to talk haha. We had a couple zoom lessons with members but that's really it.
We also had zone conference and attending over Zoom was NOT FUN. It was kinda funny for us to be carried around by other missionaries and our mission president and his wife randomly popping their head into view to see how we were doing.
One day we made a bow and arrow with some sticks, grass and weeds we found by a river bank. It actually kinda works. So that was cool.
But we did have lots of time to study, so I've learned a lot about the enabling power of the atonement of Jesus Christ this week. I have definitely felt my weakness become strength through Jesus Christ’s grace. I mean talking to random people on the street is like my worst nightmare but with Christ's help I have been able to do it. Just not this week haha.
Love y’all!
