Orange juice shower

Hi everyone!

This week was super crazy. I went on three exchanges this week so I was barely in my normal area. But it was super good and exchanges were so fun! On one of the exchanges with the district leader he dumped a bottle of Orange juice on me when I was showering. It totally freaked me out at first, but it was so funny. But I was able to get revenge for it so we're even now.

One of the people we're teaching made us tamales this week which are amazing but my companion has never had them before. So I told him you eat them with the husk because it adds flavor. I felt bad but it was also so funny watching him try to eat it. He figured it out quick though.

I also went on an exchange with the zone leaders this week and we decided to go get shaved ice at this place in their area. And when we got there, one of the people working was someone we have been teaching in our area. She is super busy so we haven't been able to meet with her for a while, it was totally a miracle for her to be working then and I was able to talk to her and set up a time to meet because my companion and I wouldn't have been able to if we hadn't been on exchanges.

Our ward thought It was stake conference this week so when they realized it actually wasn't on Saturday they asked my companion and i to speak. I'm assuming that won't be the only last minute talk i give on my mission. But it went good. The church building didn't have water on Sunday because the well wasn't working haha.

I also had the opportunity to give my first priesthood blessing. It was a really cool experience to do that and feel the Spirit and what Heavenly Father wants the person receiving the blessing to hear. I was totally freaking out before, but I was able to calm down and listen to the spirit.

I got some awesome advice from the missionaries I was with on exchanges, Including the talk "Wrestling With Comparisons" by J.B. Haws. Basically it says that the only person I should be comparing myself to, is me. I shouldn't compare where I'm at to other missionaries, only compare where I am now to where I was before.

There's a lot more I could write about but I don't want to write long emails. There was a lot of hard stuff, but The Lord is definitely helping me.

Hope y'all are doing FANTASTIC!

PS: The second picture is me and the two other zone leaders on exchanges when we ran into the girl my companion and I have been teaching in our area. She also works with another member of our ward which is super cool!
